How long does a website take to build?

Most Starter sites are live within 5–7 days. Standard sites with booking take 2–3 weeks. Pro builds with a dashboard take 3–4 weeks. The clock only starts once you've sent over your photos and copy notes — I'll guide you through exactly what's needed.
Do I own the website once it's built?

Yes — completely. The code, content, domain and accounts are all yours. There's no lock-in. If you ever decide to move to another developer, everything goes with you.
What does hosting cost?

Hosting is included free for the first year on every project. After that it's typically £4–£8 per month depending on traffic — or you can move it to your own account at any time.
Do I need to write all the copy myself?

No. I'll draft everything based on a short discovery call and any notes you already have. You just review and tweak — most clients change a sentence or two and we're done.
What if I already have a domain?

Perfect — we'll just point it at your new site, no migration headache. If you don't have one, I'll help you buy the right one (usually £8–£12/year).
Do you do SEO?

Every site comes with on-page SEO done properly — page titles, meta descriptions, structured data, fast loading, mobile-first. For Standard and Pro I also set up your Google Business Profile so locals can find you on Maps.
What if I want changes after launch?

Small tweaks (a price change, new photo, updated hours) are quick — usually £15–£25. Pro clients get unlimited small edits as part of the £29/mo support. Bigger changes are quoted upfront so there are no surprises.
Are you based in Cornwall? Can you work with businesses elsewhere?

Yes I'm based in Cornwall and love working with local businesses in Truro, Falmouth, Penzance, St Ives and across the county. I also work remotely with businesses anywhere in the UK — most of the work happens over email and quick video calls anyway.
What payment terms do you offer?

50% to start, 50% on launch. No payment until you're happy with the design preview. Payment by bank transfer or card.
What if I'm not technical at all?

That's the whole point. You don't need to know anything technical — I handle hosting, domains, the lot. You'll get a 30-minute training call so you can update prices, photos and opening hours yourself whenever you want.
